William Kennair - Scrivener Notary, Senior Partner
has an LL.B (Hons.) from University College London and qualified as a Scrivener Notary in 1983. He speaks fluent German, French and Spanish. He is a committee member of the Society of Scrivener Notaries, having been its Chairman from 2003 to 2009. He is a member of the General Council of the International Union of Notaries, (UINL), where he is the Secretary of its Commission of European Affairs. He is also Chargé d’Affaires for the UINL to the United Nations Commission for International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). He is a member of the Court of Assistants of the Scriveners’ Company, and was Master of the company from July 2008 to July 2009. He is Chairman of the company’s Notarial Committee and of the Charity Sub-Committee. He is also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.

Jessica Reeve - Scrivener Notary, Partner
is a graduate of Edinburgh University with an M.A. (Hons) in Hispanic Studies. She qualified as a Scrivener Notary in 1981 and specialises in Spanish and Portuguese work. She is a member of the Court of Assistants of the Scriveners’ Company and from July 2006 to July 2007 was the first ever Lady Master of that company. She is currently a panel member of the Disciplinary Tribunal of the Faculty Office. |

Jonathan Coutts - Scrivener Notary, Partner
holds a B.A. in French from the University of Southampton and an M.A. in Translating from the University of Salford. He qualified as a Scrivener Notary in 2000. A member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, he speaks fluent French and Polish, and like other scrivener notaries, has a reading knowledge of several others. He is the Secretary of the Society of Scrivener Notaries and represents it on the UINL’s Commission of European Affairs. |

Agnes Corless - Scrivener Notary, Associate
was born in Austria and studied English and Italian at the University of Vienna. After moving to London she qualified as a Scrivener Notary in 1988. Apart from her native German, she also works in French, Spanish and Italian. She specialises in all aspects of German notarial work and Spanish succession matters. |

François Dumonteil-Lagrèze - Translation Manager
was educated in France, Spain and Portugal, and has a B.A. (Hons) in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He has worked in the translation business for many years, and has extensive experience in that field. He is also a Liveryman of the Scriveners’ Company. |

Victoria Gonzalez - Candidate Scrivener Notary
was born and brought up in Spain, and graduated Licenciada en Derecho from the University of Oviedo in 1997. She is an Abogado of the Colegio de Abogados de Gijón. She became an English Solicitor in 2005, obtained the Cambridge University Postgraduate Diploma in Notarial Practice in 2007, and was appointed a General Notary in 2008. She is currently studying for the Scriveners’ Company examinations. |

Charles Henshaw - Trainee Notary
joined the firm in 2007. He has an LL.B (Hons) in Law with German from the University of Hull. He also studied for a year at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. He speaks fluent German and will be specialising in German and French matters. |
